You can have your favourite dessert even if you’re on a diet.

1. Mix in 1 cup of milk with 1 tsp cinnamon, ½ teaspoon nutmeg, ¼ teaspoon ginger, ½ tbsp maple syrup, ¼ cup applesauce and 1 tbsp chia seeds in a bowl and stir it all in.

2. Add 1 cup of oatmeal and 1 chopped apple to the mix and stir again.

3. Refrigerate the mixture overnight

4. In the morning, just top with some chopped walnuts and apples before serving.
